Nick here. I have three Yamaha XS650s, a ’77, 79′ & ’80. The ’80 is the runner right now which I bought completely disassembled. It took me around a year to gather parts, paint it and get it running. Not a restoration in the pure sense. I have around 12k of dependable riding on the bike since.

Your site has good tips and your journal style of blogging reminds me of how I think when working on my 71 suzuki. Keep posting.
