HHHMM, thanks for the info, history is good. I did know obout the AMF buy out, tuff times but good to see the bikes servive. I think all motorcycles are cool, a chopped 650 Triumph Boniville is a joy to ride, and don't forget to tickle it, if you want it to start. Yes Rice is nice and pretty much trouble free in the mechanical aspect. My frind in AZ spends more time before and after a ride tightening bolts on hid HD, but he will ride right next to me on my Honda. Like I read somewhere on another post, "He's a rider that just happens to own a HD". (I like that line)

It's important to know your history...
Aurther Harley who swore the knucklehead engine would last until the end of the century. Became so angered by the Davidson clan{known for the sales department}.Attempt to control the bussiness. Soon fell ill and died in1953. So a Harley, is a motorcycle built before 1953. Afterwards, a davidson. Later, a AMF. And currently,a Forbes.{Malcom Forbes Bought the company before he died...}Placing Willie in the CEO spotlight.
Rice is Nice...

[...] http://www.vintagebikeriders.com/2009/10/12/contest-entry-from-honda-bubba/The douchey element I’ve found is the “upgraded to a Harley” part. Obviously he wanted to make sure that everyone knows he has a Harley now, in case there was any doubt in your mind over whether or not he did in fact “upgrade”. … [...]
