Runs Great, just a few things to get up to par but runs really good!, Complete rebuild motor! .50 over , rebuilt crank all was done right by myself. Now comes the fun tear it apart, knock off rest of the tabs on the frame that are unused, sand blast frame rebuilt in basement to rewire the whole harness, All new Coils, and all new electric parts will be used with custom made wiring harness so that I can use the starter button, now it is only kick start. But I am hoping to get about 85 Hp out of the motor and keep it under 280 pounds. Should be a fun ride for back and forth to work and some wheelies.
Glade you liked it! Stay posted for more pics. Still unsure if I like the R1 tail??? Might switch it also, One piece race tail would look better I think!
That thing is awesome. What bike did you steal the front end from?
It is off an 2002 GSXR1000, same as the the rear, Good front end with 2 six piston mashers for the stop!
Sweet another GT! You shaved that thing down to 280 lbs! That’s amazing. Looks like crazy fun.
It isn’t at 280 now! but that is what I am hoping for. I will see when it is all done what it really is.
