		<description>I&#039;ve had several 89 gsxr&#039;s and all seem to run best with the stock air box. A tuner told me it has something to do with the sling shot having a shorter stroke motor? Not really sure. I know my current 89 is running a stage 3 jet kit and full Vance and Hines race pipe with K&amp;N filters. It has a small flat spot at low RPM&#039;s that I can never tune out? Good luck with the bike, the old oil coolers never let me down!!!!</description>

		<description>I was thinking the same.  I&#039;ll just try to get it back to stock.  THanks for your advice.  I know next to nothing about these, other than they look cool.  I like your idea - the airbox will get whacked this weekend.  I did determine that the battery cables were just corroded and now I get guage lights and taillights (and some response when I pull the brakes).  I agree - it seems like the clutch switch or neutral sensor is whacked.</description>
