1946 Chief
1946 Chief finished

finishing a 1947 Chief.
Hi my name is Mike
Thanks for the new site. Motorcycles are my life’s blood.
I restore Mostly Antique Motorcycles. Indians, Harleys, and anything with two, or three wheels. To me the vintage bikes are late model. On the antique side I’m just finishing a 1947 Chief. Earlier this summer a 1959 Harley Pan. And so on. On the vintage i have been working on A 1977
Honda 750, Extended forks, Black with ghost flames. A 1977 Goldwing, and a 1974 Honda 750 that I have been fitting up with Harley style Sheet metal Hd 45 tanks, skirted fenders, and a police solo seat. This one will be pretty cool, 750 cc’s convert to 45 cubic inches. Soon as I can figure out how to post pics here I will.
Thanks
Nak

i just love those old indians with the girder front end and the covered fenders. what kind of front end is the first one. looks kinda like a springer but can’t tell just what it is. johnny
Yes it’s the flow of the fenders, the lines of the old Chiefs are what had since i was 18. The first pic is a 1927 Scout with a Leaf Spring Front end. Indian ran the leaf spring up till 1940. The Following Chiefs are Girders. Then in 1950 they went to the modern sliders.

No springers on Indians
Nice Bikes, thanks, but rather, great garage. Look no cars, lol. my wifes car takes up half my usable space, Oh well.
those are really nice bikes. do you ride them? show them? anyways nice bikes
Thanks .
Yes a few of them do get to go to some shows. I have been thinking about putting together a show of vintage and antique bikes.
Wow..nice. Do you own those or did you restore them for someone else?
Wish they were mine. Mostly they are built for others. Currently working on a deal to replace my 1950 Chief, that was sold to build the garage, ect. ect., with a 1948 basket Chief. I think the deal is sealed, but some times it takes time to pry those old Indians from their owners.
How;s att? Will send more Antique & Vintage shots soon.
