Thank You James! After dancing around with the frame and after James sugested we remove right side motor mount, the right side of frame came off for a somewhat easy removal of the engine. A transmission dolly would have been a plus here as an afterthought. May do the old milk carton trick for putting back in.

Anyway, now I can get to work cleaning up the frame for paint and do the valve cover gaskets, polishing, painting, etc. on engine. To much for me to lift, by myself, but with two people, not bad.
Glad I bought hand cleaner too…

    I’ve been wanting to do the same with my CL200 and bring the engine into the basement so I can work on it where it’s warm. However, cats and kids prevent that from being a sound plan.
