Found another add, ( wouldn’t upload ), Price in 1975 was $595.00 That was about what I was making a month back then. Back when you got your moneys worth, made less but your dollar bought more and a better quality product. Could buy a months worth of groceries to for about $100… and my rent was $150.00 a month… living cheap in Oklahoma… Man! A guy has one of these on Craigs List, right now, asking $4800.00. I think that, “THAT’S TO MUCH!”

When I saw that RD for $4800, I actually LOL. Poor guy may actually believe it or has been led to believe the value. Without a doubt the CL listings entertain me daily. I almost entered a listing a couple weeks back that the spelling was soooo bad, with no punctuation and all lower case letters. it wuz hillaireuss the listung wuz fer a yamha that wont stert and sellin fer my pa cuz he took the carberater off and cant find peeces he droped on the groun – sellin cheep cuz it cant run
Those really are cool little bikes. You’re right – $4800 is way out of line, unless it’s in museum quality, but even that’s a stretch.
