I've been giving it a lot of thought... I may dive into a rebuild of the 750 engine. At least I'll know everything is right with it when I'm done. If I buy another engine I won't know what I'm getting....again!

You're prob. right... I was just checking out prices just for parts. The chain, alone, is $150 not to mention gasket kits and the primary chain which says, "Call for price."...no tell'n what that costs!
I guess I'll put the engine up for sale as parts engine as it would be good for that. It has15k miles on it, (not to bad), and is really pretty clean inside, lots of good parts there. Have to save up for another engine now, get everything else right on the frame while I'm saving..there's plenty of stuff to do on it untill then..

May be easier and cheaper to get a full replacement...there's always someone selling a complete engine on ebay or craigslist.
