If you’re not into Harleys, there’s really very little out there along the lines of information and gatherings for common interests in motorcycles. I love the vintage bikes, especially the imports. This site is for anyone that shares the same interest.
My name is Brian Tommasone and I am the founder and maintainer of this site. When I was 14, I bought a new Tomos Silver Bullet moped and absolutely loved it. I rode it every chance I could and logged about 6,000 miles on it before I turned 16 and started driving and completely forgot how much fun riding was.
For most of my adult life I ignored motorcycles because I was pretty put off at the idiots I saw on bikes and plus I love cars..especially the all wheel drive luxury variety. In 2008, for no apparent reason, I woke up on a Saturday and told my wife I was going to go buy a motorcycle. I chose a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 500, most ly for the looks of it and it was pretty cheap for a new bike too.
Something inside of me snapped. I was instantly hooked and obsessed and I kept remembering the ‘72 Honda CL350 my dad had for a short time when I was 13 (he sold it to buy me my moped when I turned 14). Within a month of having my Kawasaki, I started looking for an old Japanese bike to restore.
As I mentioned, I also love cars, especially anything that’s all wheel drive. My favorite car that I’ve owned was a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro. I traded that for a 2008 Lexus IS 250 AWD, with the financial assistance of a compensation package I have with my job. I’m still obsessed with Audi cars though, but unfortunately I’d have to make a LOT more money to fix and maintain one as a hobby, so for my regular guy salary, I’m focusing on vintage motorcycles.
I decided to put up this web site in order to start a community of people with a similar taste in motorcycles. I love all of the old bikes. Thanks to everyone for joining and participating on my site. The response has been for more than I ever imagined, and I couldn’t be happier. I love maintaining this site, hooking up with other bike owners, and hearing about everyone’s experiences and bikes.

Just signed up,( the password thing was trickey but I changed that first thing). This is the kind of website I’ve been looking for. Mom gave me her old car and I traded it for a 79 Honda 750 Annv. Edition bike with some, hopefully, minor issues. I plan on restoring it to close to origional. I even bought another 79 for a parts bike but may restore it also, (it was left outside a lot and has more rust but engine may be better). I’ll be posting my story soon with pics and may have some questions or comments to make. Love the site!
Glad to be a member, I hope this thing gets rolling! I love old jap bikes. I raced a friend of mine that just rebuilt a mid 90’s harley , looks bad ass but my 30 year old honda cb 900f had 4 car length’s on him at 130 mph. our wives were watching, how embarrasing for him. I only have $1,400. into my bike, not $14,000. Ha,Ha,….HDDB……………
Ah! I love those CB900’s. My CL200 is “cute” and easy for a first restore project, but not too exciting. Thanks for your comments. If you have and pictures of your 900’s, I’m sure everyone would love to see them.
